Dear Valued Clients and Referrers,
We wanted to personally keep you updated on some important changes we’ll be introducing from 1 July 2025 further to the 2025-26 NDIS Pricing Arrangement and Price Limits, which affect how sessions and travel are structured and billed and therefore may impact you.
As you may be aware, recent changes introduced by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) have significantly impacted how service providers are able to claim travel costs, impacting those who visit participants in the community the hardest. These changes immediately place substantial additional financial pressure on smaller, independent community & mobile-based service providers such as ourselves.
Unfortunately, we can no longer continue to absorb the full cost of these changes while maintaining service sustainability.
To provide further context, Therapeutic Supports have largely not had a rate increase since 2019. Imagine if any other industry failed to receive even a CPI or cost of living increase for 6 years! This year the NDIS have reduced some service delivery rates by a further 18.1%!
Like many providers, we are needing to make adjustments to ensure long-term financial viability while still maintaining the quality of care we pride ourselves in delivering and our clients rightly so expect.
How does this impact you and your Therapeutic Supports?
1. Therapist’s Independence
There is no change. We will never compromise our therapist’s independence and autonomy, nor will we implement billable hours as a ruse to paper over the funding gaps created by the NDIS framework.
We firmly believe that experienced professionals should be independent, autonomous and solely focused on your care.
2. Service Delivery Location
Your therapist will contact you directly IF the location or place of service delivery needs to be changed.
We anticipate this will have minimal disruption however is likely to result in therapists visiting specific geographic locations to better group multiple participants together.
We currently have clinic space in Ellenbrook and Busselton removing any need for therapist travel.
3. Transition of supports
If for any reason either we are unable to continue to support you or cannot support in a geographic location that is logistically & economically viable we will continue you directly and work with you and our network of providers to source suitable alternative providers.
4. Questions
If you have any questions or concerns, in the first instance speak directly with your therapist.
In the event that you require further support or guidance please contact therapy@aspireandgrow.com.au
Why These Changes Are Necessary:
● These adjustments allow us to continue offering services in the community without compromising service quality or therapist support.
● The recent NDIS reforms have had a significant and widespread impact across the allied health sector, particularly for small and mobile providers like ourselves. Many providers have been forced to rethink how services are structured and billed in order to remain financially sustainable under the updated pricing restrictions.
● We recognise that the NDIS landscape can often feel complex and restrictive, and we want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to carefully navigate these challenges so we can continue delivering consistent, high-quality care for your family now and into the future.
● They ensure that all of the clinical and administrative work involved in your therapy is appropriately captured and delivered.
● They reflect wider sector changes, with many other providers taking similar steps in response to these NDIS reforms.
Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support.
Kindest regards
